Delete Your Account

Butter Software is the platform behind your golf club's booking app. You can delete your account and the personal data attached to it at any time — here's how.

Delete from the app

The fastest route, and the only one that takes effect immediately.

  1. 1Open your club’s app and sign in.
  2. 2Open the Menu tab, then tap Account Management.
  3. 3Tap Delete Account and confirm in the sheet that appears.

Deletion runs as soon as you confirm — there is no waiting period, and the account cannot be restored afterward.

Can't sign in?

If you have lost access to the app or to your login, email info@buttersoftware.com from the address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request”, and include your full name and the club you belong to. We verify the request before acting on it and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What happens to your data

Deleted permanently

  • Your profile and contact details
  • Your login credentials
  • Your club memberships and enrollments
  • Saved payment methods
  • Passes, memberships, and pending invitations
  • Push notification registrations for your devices

Removed from our systems and from the authentication provider. This cannot be undone.

Retained, detached from you

  • Invoices and payment records
  • Booking history

Kept for accounting, tax, and audit obligations, with your account no longer linked to them.

Before you delete

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid membership or issue a refund, and it removes any unused passes and credit. If you have an active membership or a balance with your club, contact the club first.
